I have been traveling the nation teaching the Essential Animal Services Training Academy for Code 3 Associates since 2012 and have been involved in some aspect of public safety most of my adult life. I was a patrol officer in South Dakota (also a DARE Instructor & K-9 handler), moved to Las Vegas for family and became an Animal Control Officer until joining Code 3 and moving to Colorado. Having always had an affinity for animals and teaching, I joined the Pet Tech team as an instructor to be able to spread the knowledge and skills so more people can be prepared for when that emergency happens to, or in front of, them. I started Encompass Canines in 2021 because of my belief that dog training should be fun and realistic to each individual - both human and canine. Encompass Canines is a safe place for dogs and their humans to learn, grow, and/or play, all in a positive way that fits their needs. The goal is to enhance the relationship / bond between people and their canine companions, resulting in well behaved partnerships.
