Hi! My name is Jessica and I am life-long resident of Baltimore City! I live with my husband, Matt (a City Firefighter), and our 15 year-old son, Tristan. Completing the pack are our three faithful mutts, Scooby, Dog and Zury. We're a happy family of six, and I couldn't imagine a world without a single one of them.

I remember my home always being full of four-legged friends throughout my childhood. That's why I've long known that being around animals and seeing them happy fulfills my day. So it only came natural when I decided to start my own Pet Care business. It was a pivotal moment in my life and involved some serious soul-searching beforehand, but I honestly couldn’t enjoy doing anything more. It feels like this is what I was always meant to do. That it’s what I’m here for.

I have owned and operated Prancing Pooches, a premium Dog Walking and Pet Sitting service for over eight years now. We have been the proud recipients of the coveted Baltimore Magazine “Best of Baltimore” Reader’s Choice Award for the past three years running, and show no signs of slowing down. We have a staff of half a dozen pet lovers who take great pride in what they do, and have been blessed with a business that has consistently grown in size and profitability year-after-year since we first opened our doors.

I became a Pet Tech Instructor because I wanted all of our employees to be certified in Pet CPR & First Aid, but most importantly, to assure my clients that their furbaby would always be in the best of hands. We’ve focused great time and effort to ensure that when our clients step away and we stand in their place, that they know their pet is being looked after as if they were one of our own. Knowing full-well that we have the training and expertise necessary to address any issues that come our way.
