After retiring as a 30 year EMT working for ambulance companies both in the field and in dispatch, I wanted to do something a little different. Luckily the pet care company that cared for my pets while I worked full time, asked me to work for them. I have loved all kinds of animals my whole life and have been fortunate enough to have shared my life with dogs, cats, horses and various small animals, so this is a dream job. I was also an instructor for human first aid and CPR with the Red Cross, American Heart Assoc. and American Health. The opportunity to teach Pet First Aid & CPR was one that I couldn't pass up. Pets are one of the greatest gifts human-kind has been given, and to help people care for their pets in a time of emergency is something that I am passionate about.
