I am a licensed veterinary technician (state of Virginia). Since 2006, I have volunteered at animal shelters, worked at dog daycares, & run the gamut of all veterinary roles up to licensed veterinary technician & shift leader. I've been pet-sitting - both short-term & long-term - for both healthy animals, as well as for those requiring more intensive monitoring and at-home treatments since around 2012. Most of my pet-sitting gigs have been for repeat "clients" whose owners feel more secure in knowing that a licensed veterinary professional is caring for their pet. I am always looking to further my education and practical skills in order to save the lives of animals in need.
