Amy Hillis has been a Pet Tech Instructor since 2022 and is the Co-Founder of Social Pet Hotel and Daycare, a multi-location pet care company serving the Charlotte, NC area. Social Pet's enrichment program, commitment to training and education, and certified team members help enrich the lives the dogs and the relationships they share with those who love them.
A dedicated advocate for professionalism in pet care, Amy has served on the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC) board, helping to advance independent certification standards for the industry. Amy lives in South Carolina with her husband, son, and two dogs. She and her husband also maintain a farm in the North Carolina mountains, home to a variety of rescued animals, including pigs, horses, chickens, and goats.
