I’m Becky Lea, I have been working with pets full-time for the last five years. After a lifetime in retail management, I decided to follow my dreams and work with my true passion, pets! I began by volunteering for shelters and In 2014 I started my own dog walking and pet sitting company, Paws Around Motown. What began with myself and one dog, quickly flourished and has now grown to over 400 customers and 19 employees. What became my mission and the mission of my company is to provide a safe, stress-free and quality pet care experience for both pet and pet parent. Doing this through compassion, patience, honesty, open communication, and respect. Putting the pet above all else. The aspect and importance of keeping pets safe led me to continuing my education and in January, I received my Canine Obedience Training Certification.

I have searched and searched for a way to get hands on CPR and First Aid training. In finding Pet Tech, I have found the best! I wanted to take my First Aid and CPR training further and become an Instructor so that I could share life saving techniques with my team, my pet parents, and my community.
