I began a lifetime commitment to animal care in my early 20s. After being invited to volunteer at a rural animal shelter in East Tennessee, I knew animal care was my career of choice. I served as Director for that shelter for four years where I helped over 1,500 dogs and cats find their new homes. While there, I found interest in Shelter Medicine and worked closely with a partnering animal hospital to train as a veterinary technician. During my first years at the shelter, I also trained as a boarding and daycare handler and learned the importance of dog language and behavior. In the summer of 2017, I moved back to my hometown of Casper and managed a boarding and daycare facility for almost five years. I welcomed the opportunity to bring a new approach of professional animal care to our community and partnered with investors in October 2022.

It's my commitment to continue training and educating in animal care with pets and pet parents in mind! In July 2023, I earned my certification as Pet Tech Pet CPR, First Aid, Safety, and Care Instructor.
