Hello and welcome! My name is Deana Jo Beasley, and I am thrilled to be your guide for this Pet CPR and First Aid course. As an experienced Pet Groomer, I am the owner of Yappy Days Pet Grooming, Yappy Days Pet Services, a small dog boarding facility and Yappy Days Pet CPR and First Aid. Additionally, I am a Pet Grooming Instructor for Hagerstown Community College in Hagerstown, MD. As a Certified Pet Tech Pet CPR and First Aid Instructor, my goal is to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to keep your furry friends safe in emergency situations.

Whether you're a pet owner, a pet professional, or simply someone who wants to be prepared for the unexpected, this course will provide you with essential life-saving techniques. We’ll cover everything from basic first aid to performing CPR on pets, along with how to handle common emergencies like choking, heatstroke, poisoning, and more.

In this course, we’ll be combining theory with hands-on practice so that you feel confident in applying these skills when it matters most. You’ll learn how to assess your pet’s condition, stay calm in stressful situations, and act quickly and effectively.
