CPR And First Aid For Your Pets:
5+ hour class including CPR techniques, first aid skills, health care and wellness information for dogs and cats. Does not include dental care or senior care.
Additionally, the class includes our PetSaver® 40-page handbook and upon successful completion, each participant will receive a certificate and wallet card. Sometimes the unexpected happens… Will you be prepared to take action when it does?

Kate Klasen is the owner of a grooming salon in Arizona. She is a holistic groomer, Reiki master, certified Canine Esthetician, and Fear Free certified groomer. She is Pet Tech certified CPR/First Aid Instructor. Kate also teaches people CPR & First aid and is a trained instructor for ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute) and AHA (American Heart Association).
Kate has been a licensed EMT, a vet tech, 911 Dispatcher and a Patrol Officer in IL. She was a CPR/First Aid instructor at the Police Academy teaching new recruits, her department and neighboring departments, as well as her department’s Taser Instructor.
She became the unofficial animal control officer on her department while working the midnight shift when most agencies were unavailable. She frequently worked with the local wildlife as well as domesticated animals in emergency situations.
Moving to Arizona, she trained to groom and worked in a veterinary office. She now has her own salon, where she grooms full time and offers nutrition education. She has also added CPR/First Aid instructor through Pet Tech to her list of many accomplishments!
