I’m born and raised in San Jose, California, and somehow my love for dogs turned into a career I never could have imagined. After adopting my first dog, I realized pretty quickly that I wanted to work with animals. I left college and started in the grooming industry as a receptionist at a grooming salon. I had no idea at the time where that first job would take me, but it ended up being the beginning of something much bigger.

Today, I own and operate a grooming academy and own grooming salons in San Jose, Gilroy, and Campbell, California. I’m competitive by nature, especially when it comes to grooming, and I’m always pushing myself to get better. I don’t believe you ever really “know it all” in this industry. There’s always something new to learn, a new technique to try, or a way to improve—and I genuinely love that. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I’m even more excited about where I’m going next.
