Ann worked in the healthcare field for humans for over 20 years. While traveling for work with her dog Daisy, she personally experienced the dog daycare and pet sitting world. Ann now owns a dog daycare and boarding facility in West Burlington, Iowa. Bark & Play Daycare and Suites opened in 2014, and more than double our capacity in 2016 with an addition. In 2017 Bark & Play received Small Business of the Year from the Greater Burlington Partnership. It only made sense to bring the love Ann has for pets to help educate others in what we all can do to ease the stress of a situation before it arises. 2020 Ann opened The Bark Spa in Burlington. With the tranquil setting for dogs to be groomed with all natural products, they also offer Thera-Clean microbubble baths. The first to offer it in the state of Iowa.
