Rebecca entered the dog industry in 2009 by attending Petropolis Grooming Academy with the goal of owning her own dog care facility. In 2016, partnered with her husband/dog trainer, Richard, the couple opened Grateful Pets in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Rebecca actively groomed for 12 years prior to taking a step back in 2021 to raise the couple’s two children. She has remained current in pet first aid/CPR throughout her career and knows the importance of having and using those skills while working with pets. Rebecca believes everyone should be able to act as their pets’ first responder and for that reason decided to become a Pet Tech instructor. She looks forward to continuing to provide to the pets of the St. Louis community and beyond. Check out one of her classes soon!
