My name is Katie Cohen and I am a third-year Honors Pre-Veterinary student at The Ohio State University! I love animals and I am so excited to share my passion with the world. I have two kitties, Karma and Zen, back home in Cleveland, who are brothers and also my best friends. I have had hundreds of hours of experience volunteering at animal shelters, I have veterinary clinic experience, I have worked on a dairy farm, and I am currently working at a horse barn! In school, we only learn so much, and we are urged to get hands-on experiences anywhere and everywhere we can. These situations also test me to apply the knowledge I have absorbed so far in my education. I became a PetTech instructor because the best way to learn is to teach. Animal care is something that should not only be for students and professionals, but for everyone. I love connecting with others and I am so excited to have the opportunity to help people learn. I know through teaching Pet First Aid, I will learn more, too!
