Hi, I’m Jill Theis-Cooper. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Right now, I share my life with three amazing Border Collies — Hydro (who’s 13½), Apache (9), and Ember (3) — and my spirited cat Stormy, who’s 5. They’re my babies, and I love them with all my heart.
I’ve been married for 40 years, and we have two sons who are both married now with families of their own. I’m lucky to be a grandma to four beautiful grandkids — a granddaughter and grandson from my oldest son, and two grandsons from my youngest.
For over 15 years, I’ve been an agility instructor, and I also work as an AKC evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program, STAR Puppy, and Trick Dog titles. I’ve always believed in helping people and their dogs build strong, trusting relationships.
Over the past few years, I’ve taken several PetTech courses. After seeing some real medical emergencies involving pets, I knew I wanted to do more — that’s what led me to become a certified and Licensed PetTech Instructor. My goal is to teach others how to respond in a crisis and maybe even help them save their pet’s life. I love animals deeply, and I just want to make a difference.
