PET SITTING
Coddle Creek Pet Services offers professional pet sitting services for your cats, dogs, caged birds and small caged pets. We provide all services in your home so that your furry and winged family members can enjoy a stay-cation while you travel for business or pleasure.
For cats, birds and small caged pets we make a minimum of one visit per day. We do not offer every other day services.
For dogs without access to a securely fenced yard through a doggie door we make a minimum of three visits per day. For dogs with access to a securely fenced yard through a doggie door we make a minimum of two visits per day.
While taking care of your pets we feed them, wash food and water bowls, provide enrichment, indoor and/or outdoor play time, light brushing if the pet accepts it and dog walking if your dog walks nicely on leash in a safe neighborhood. We alter lights and drapes and bring in mail, small packages and newspapers to give your home that “lived in look.”
The safety and security of your home as well as the health, safety and comfort of your pets is of the utmost importance to us. All our team members are background checked by Acutraq, drug screened by MedFast, trained in the Pet Tech family of Pet First Aid and CPR classes by one of the owners and required to participate in monthly continuing education.
DOG WALKING
Coddle Creek Pet Services offers daily dog walks for the canine members of your household. Depending on the needs of your pets we will either play n your fenced in yard or take a walk in your safe neighborhood. On days that the weather is unsafe (extremely hot and humid, thunderstorms, extremely cold and icy, or hailing) we will take your dog outside for a potty opportunity and spend the remainder of the visit indoors playing with your dog or doing brain games. Safety first always!

PET TECH FAMILY OF CLASSES
We offer classes in Pet Tech Pet Saver, CPR, First Aid & Care for Your Pets for a fee. We are available for presentations regarding Hiking and Walking With Your Dogs without charge for local civic groups when our schedule allows.
We are the only Pet Tech Instructors within a 25 mile radius of our business location.

Along with my husband Billy Harwell, I own Dog Walkers and More at Coddle Creek, LLC. We have been in business since June 2013. We offer in your home pet sitting services for cats, dogs, birds and small caged pets for pet families in the Lake Norman Area. We are retired Pet Tech Instructors as of 2021.
Early in our business Billy took a pet first aid course with another organization. In October 2014 both Billy and I were initially trained in Pet Tech Pet First Aid and CPR while attending a pet sitter conference in Las Vegas. We were so impressed with the program that Billy took the necessary three days of intensive training to become a Certified Pet Tech Instructor a few months later.
I renewed my Pet Tech CPR & First Aid training in 2016. Finally, in August 2018 I too took the three days of intensive training to become a Certified Pet Tech Instructor. We are both very excited to team teach this wonderful program..
I have always been passionate about preventive health and extend those interests to our own pets and to the pets we take care of. Being certified in Pet First Aid, CPR and Care for Pets provides me with the skills and confidence to provide the best possible care for your pets while pet sitting AND to teach you the same skills.
