Balanced Paws offers Animal Reiki & PEMF sessions. Reiki is a way of helping animals move toward balance and wholeness by using a simple relaxation technique which activates the body’s natural healing response. PEMF therapy helps with inflammation and helps balance the body, it is approved by FDA.

Kate Klasen is the owner of Balanced Paws & The Frontline Coalition. She is a holistic groomer, Reiki master, certified Canine Esthetician, a Fear Free certified groomer, a Pet Tech certified CPR/First Aid Instructor and an instructor for American Safety & Health Institute and American Heart Association.

Kate Klasen is the owner of a grooming salon in Arizona. She is a holistic groomer, Reiki master, certified Canine Esthetician, and Fear Free certified groomer. She is Pet Tech certified CPR/First Aid Instructor. Kate also teaches people CPR & First aid and is a trained instructor for ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute) and AHA (American Heart Association).
Kate has been a licensed EMT, a vet tech, 911 Dispatcher and a Patrol Officer in IL. She was a CPR/First Aid instructor at the Police Academy teaching new recruits, her department and neighboring departments, as well as her department’s Taser Instructor.
She became the unofficial animal control officer on her department while working the midnight shift when most agencies were unavailable. She frequently worked with the local wildlife as well as domesticated animals in emergency situations.
Moving to Arizona, she trained to groom and worked in a veterinary office. She now has her own salon, where she grooms full time and offers nutrition education. She has also added CPR/First Aid instructor through Pet Tech to her list of many accomplishments!
