Kate Klasen is the owner of a grooming salon in Arizona. She is a holistic groomer, Reiki master, certified Canine Esthetician, a Fear Free certified groomer and a Pet Tech certified CPR/First Aid Instructor.
Kate has been a licensed EMT, a vet tech, 911 Dispatcher and a Patrol Officer in IL. She was a CPR/First Aid instructor at the Police Academy teaching new recruits, her department and neighboring departments, as well as her department’s Taser Instructor.
She became the unofficial animal control officer on her department while working the midnight shift when most agencies were unavailable. She frequently worked with the local wildlife as well as domesticated animals in emergency situations.
Moving to Arizona, she trained to groom and worked in a veterinary office. She now has her own salon, where she grooms full time and offers nutrition education. She has also added CPR/First Aid instructor through Pet Tech to her list of many accomplishments!
