I am currently a Registered Veterinary Technician and graduated from tech school in 2019. I am also a Shelter Operations Manager for a local rescue and working on becoming a professional trainer. I am finishing out my bachelors degree and moving on to a masters degree program soon in veterinary medical sciences. I am a small business owner with my husband that has nothing to do with animals. I have 3 kids and multiple pets. I decided to take this class myself and become an instructor to broaden my knowledge of pet safety because not only do owned pets need to be cared for properly, but the un-owned animals in my care are often overlooked and I am a strong advocate for their care as well. I have a lot of knowledge and certifications under my belt because I love what I do and I will continue to learn new things every day to grow within the animal industry. I also want to share my knowledge with you because it only benefits the animals.
