Hailing from the heart of Southeast Texas, I spent many of my childhood days lost in the wonders of nature. I was that kid – the one turning classrooms into a zoo, much to the delight (or dismay) of my peers and teachers. My heart has always beaten to the rhythm of paws, talons, and scales, so naturally, I found my calling in the Pet Care Industry.
As a bright-eyed 19-year-old, I stepped into the world, freshly married to my Air Force hero, Kaleb. Together, we soared to Japan, embracing life in the Land of the Rising Sun where I became an Animal Caretaker for Yokota Air Base. From there, I explored every aspect of pet care – from animal medicine to leading the pack. I’ve settled down at Red Bluff Pet Resort in the Bayou City, where I have served for 5 years as the Operations Manager. My passion is crafting an environment that ensures safety and joy for the animals entrusted to us and empowering our team with the knowledge and skills to navigate the unpredictable nature of life. Because if there’s one truth I’ve uncovered in this industry, it’s that “life happens!” Meet my feline travel guru, GiGi, and Hendrix, the black cat with a dog’s soul. And the dapper Scottish terrier by my side? That’s Ripley, my heart wrapped in fur – just don’t mistake him for a schnauzer; he’s got a reputation to uphold! These days, you’ll catch me teaching my tiny human the art of “gently” petting the kitties and paddling through life with my other half, Kaleb.
