Hello my name is Tracy!
I am thrilled to be able to offer first aid and CPR training to my fellow pet professionals. As someone who has worked exclusively in the animal industry since graduating high school in 1982 I am proud to be able to continue my trade in a different light. I am a mother to 2 children who now work inside of my grooming, boarding and daycare, which is a family ran business. I have been married for 33 years. I stared in the veterinary field in 1983 I worked pet opthomology for 5 years, ER vet medicine for 7 years, I went to grooming school in 1986 and have carried my pet grooming certification for 38 years. I opened my own grooming salon in 2010. I was at that time the only groomer in my facility which quickly grew to 10 professional pet stylists, which meant time to move to a bigger setting. So in 2022 we opened our new building and now offer grooming, daycare, and boarding. In March of 2023, while on a family vacation, I suffered a cardiac arrest. They recesitated me 6 different times. With only a 5% chance of survival I defeated the odds and came back with all of my faculties and a new pacemaker. So I guess you could say CPR is something I'm a bit passionate about. Everyone who works with living animals should know proper CPR and First Aid Care just in case of an emergency, as I do believe I am living proof of that. I hope to help support your journey in also becoming certified as you could easily save the life of someone's beloved 4 legged family member.
