I am the Recruiting and Training Manager for Woofies, a large dog walking, pet sitting, and mobile grooming company in Ashburn, Virginia. I do interviews, sitter training, and other back office training items, as well as training support for franchisees. I became interested in pet first aid when one of my own dogs was choking and I did not know how to help him. I knew that I should be more knowledgeable about how to help him, as well as other dogs in my care. Now that I am in a position to be a resource to many sitters, as well as clients, I am more interested in finding a way to be more knowledgeable and a teacher to others.
