I have been involved professionally with dogs since I was 17 years old. In my 20's I was a lab tech and surgical assistant for a large vet clinic in Houston, TX. and for over 35 years I have trained and competed with dogs in several dog sports. In 2001 thru 2004 I was the only SAR dog handler with the Carroll County (Arkansas) Special Operations Rescue Team and for 6 1/2 years I trained service dogs for Freedom Service Dogs of America and served as Foundation Training and Dog Intake Manager for 2 /12 years. In March of 2019 I decided to join forces with Dawn Olson to develop "Creating Forever Dogs" and to help educate people in caring for their pets as an instructor with Pet Tech.
