Pet Tech Beaded Dog

We have probably made well over 100 of these little beaded dogs at conferences, restaurants and for family and friends. They are a big hit and people always want to know how to make one. Well, here is how we came to find out about the Beaded Dog…even though we’ve made many balloon dogs. 🙂
We were at a Pet Tech Conference in Las Vegas and we were discussing ideas to promote CPR & First Aid Classes at a booth for a dog walk, trade show or other event. One topic that came up was parents with kids could be distracted when talking with an Instructor because (as a good parent and pet parent) they are keeping an eye on their kids. Well, one of our Instructors pulls out this little brown bag full of purple Mardi Gras Beads. [and Purple just happens to be our Corporate color] And she begins to tell us how she makes a bunch in advance and she gives one of these to each of the kids. Even letting them choose their color and suggesting they give it a name making it a nice personal touch! She always carries a bag of complete necklaces and strands of 17 at the ready to give and share this little piece of cuteness.
Our Pet Tech Instructors are some of the most passionate and professional Pet Care Professionals in the industry. They believe in and support our mission of “Improving the Quality of Pets’ Lives, One Pet Parent at a Time.”™ Together we accomplish this through training and education both online and in the classroom. We will be sharing more great ideas, so stay tuned 🙂
Enjoy making these Beaded Dogs and post your pics on the Pet Tech
Facebook and Instagram pages. These make great gifts for the 2-legged kids!
